We had the pleasure of a visit from Kevin Lynch, Chairman, President and CEO of Oritani Bank. The Oritani Bank is a major corporate sponsor of our Habitat and Habitat affiliates in Central and Northern New Jersey. He joined us recently on a tour of 476 Ocean Ave and met with the soon-to-be owners, Nelson and Rosa Felix. As part of our home tour, Santos Murillo shows Mr. Lynch a material called PEX, which is a plastic tubing that could be run to each and every hot and cold fixture in the homes. This is one of the many cost-effective items in the Habitat home. The water can be shut off at the manifold without effecting the flow of water to the rest of the house. We thank the Oritani staff, its foundation and customers for their generous donations helping us to fulfill our mutual goal of providing simple, decent affordable housing.
